AnthroMed Education is an expanding organization devoted to providing a unique experience for our team of school-based social workers as they provide their services to students. As we are local here in Illinois, our ability to support and advocate for our team of social workers makes us stand out drastically from other organizations.
We are currently seeking an empathic and hard-working School Social Worker to support at one of our partner schools in Vernon Hills for the 2023-2024 school year. The SSW joining will be excited to work with K-5th grade students and manage an IEP caseload.
Location: Vernon Hills, Illinois 60061
Job Details:
Provide social work services and support to K-5th grade students
Support in a Dual Language Program (A Bilingual SSW is a huge plus for this role since most students speak Spanish as their second spoken language!)
Manage an IEP caseload of 30 students
Work alongside a part-time School Social Worker
Other duties to be assigned

Position Requirements:
Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work
Illinois Professional Educator License with an endorsement in Social Work
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not a requirement
