Eaton Corporation Service Team Manager, FSE in Vantaa, Finland

Eaton´s new campus for its critical power systems in Vantaa, Finland, integrates all current activities into a much larger site. Campus is completed by the end of 2023, and the 16,500 m² site will house research and development, manufacturing, warehousing, sales and service under one roof and will create up to 100 additional jobs.

As one of the world’s largest manufacturers of three-phase uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), Eaton’s expansion in this area is driven by strong business growth and the demand for systems that ensure business continuity. Situated in a prime location next to the Helsinki airport, the Vantaa facility will serve as Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions headquarters and a center of excellence for data centers.

What you’ll do:

This role leads, develops and supports the Service Team in Finland reporting to Service Operations Manager, Finland. Team (currently 12 people) of Field Service Engineers operates mainly in UPS Service in covering e.g. Service Agreements, Installation and Commissioning & Repairs. Services to other Eaton electrical equipment will be added as per market requirements. Role is cooperating with other Service Team, Service Coordinator, Admin Team and Service Sales ensuring that sold services is delivered efficiently, safely and with high quality. Team is covering full Finland and cooperating with other Nordic countries.

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. In Electrical Engineering preferred or other relevant experience

  • Experience in Team Leading >2 yrs

  • Knowledge of field engineering services

  • Experience in the electrical services preferably with UPSs, power distribution, electric vehicle charging systems

Skills:

  • Fluency in Finnish and English

  • Ability to lead the service team including remote team members

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Systematic & good Time Management skills

  • Strong IT skills
