Job Title: Tissue Processing Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Tissue Processing Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the debridement, processing, packaging, and labeling of human tissue products for surgical transplantation, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and AATB regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform processing, debridement, packaging, labeling, and shipment of finished products.
Utilize specialized techniques and equipment to clean and size tissue according to specifications.
Assist the Team Lead in maintaining inventory levels for supplies.
Conduct lab cleaning activities per established policies and protocols.
Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory staff to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Complete production documentation accurately, adhering to standard operating procedures and quality standards.
Support production records as needed and perform other duties as directed by the Supervisor.
Requirements:
Hard Skills: Knowledge of biology, human tissue, and skin processing.
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months)
Location: Fully on-site in Vandalia, Ohio.
Environment: Clean room setting; PPE provided (lab coat, safety glasses, hairnet, medical gloves). Teamwork is essential, with teams of 8-12 members.
The ideal candidate would have their high school diploma or associate degree in science, having prior medical or healthcare experience is a plus or prior quality assurance or quality control experience. These are long term opportunities, this company wants someone who has an interest in working this position for a long term opportunity.
Pay and Shift:
1st shift - M-F 7a-3:30p (Must be open to working OT and may have to work some Holidays Depending on workload)
$18/HR
