This position is available on our Day shift which works Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm. *The range provided is based on cost of living/geography and what we believe is reasonable in the market at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase, as well as long term compensation. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors. How You'll Perform the Role Enter picked orders in the ERP system and creates the bill-of-lading (BOL) along with shipping labels for all outbound shipments including customer pickups. Compile daily shipping activities to create outbound shipment reports. Confer with management, supervisors, and hourly staff to ensure an efficient flow of work through the distribution system including scheduling carrier and customer pickups, allocating orders in the ERP system, planning product moves between the various warehouses, and checking orders for pick accuracy. Support the Customer Service Group by providing delivery confirmations, invoice verifications so credits can be issued to customers, and other requests that involve research of details within the ERP system and/or the carrier network. Participate in planning and setting up in-bound replenishment orders in the ERP system to ensure a timely and efficient flow of finished goods while making sure customer order demands are met. Receive, inspect, and unload incoming materials and compares information on packing list with purchase order to verify accuracy. Analyze the flow of open orders and determine the best method of transportation, based on the customer's requirements, quality of service, and the best cost. Prepare and monitor the processing of inbound/outbound orders by creating shipment ID's and tender shipments through the required system(s). Manage inbound and shipping documentation daily, including but not limited to; maintaining the order scheduling process, printing of initial orders, updating the shipping log tracking information, and reprinting of revised orders. Lead and support carriers in coordination of delivery appointments; change the lead-time for accuracy; and provide necessary communication to internal departments as needed.
