Providence St. Joseph Health Senior Customer Care Coordinator, Medicaid *Remote* in Vancouver, Washington

Providence Health Plan is calling a Senior Customer Care Coordinator, Medicaid who will: Serve as a member of a service team that supports multiple regions Provide Health Plan customers with outstanding, seamless service in a call center-based team environment Serve as a first line of communication with a variety of customers, including existing and potential members, providers, and employers Provide a detailed benefit, eligibility and premium information on a broad portfolio of products Assist members in selecting medical homes and primary care physicians Educate members and providers in the appropriate use of health plan and clinic services Research and respond to claims and authorization inquiries, and resolve customer issues and concerns Require a high degree of problem solving, a thorough understanding of Health Plans' operations, including claim processing, enrollment processing, benefit and contract interpretation, medical management and behavioral health initiatives, and customer relations Be expected to exercise an occasional leadership role as well We welcome 100% remote work for residents who reside in one of the following States / Regions: Washington: Clark County Oregon Required qualifications for this position include: 6+ months experience as a Customer Care Coordinator Customer-facing experience in all aspects of customer service A proven track record of learning and applying complex concepts and knowledge A proven ability to problem solve Preferred qualifications for this position include: Bachelor's Degree -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience 2+ years of customer service experience within a healthcare call center, office or health insurance environment Why Join Providence?
