Sign up for our weekly job openings newsletter.POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for maintaining the efficient operation and upkeep of the assigned property buildings and grounds in a supportive role. CORE FUNCTIONS/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS FIELDWORK:

  • Responsible for prioritizing and completing daily repair (Maintenance Requests) and upkeep of the property including but not limited to appliance repairs; repairing and unclogging toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, and exterior drains; minor drywall repairs; and painting touch ups.
  • Performing routine and preventative maintenance including but not limited to a general carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, floor covering, gutter and roof cleaning, pressure washing, winterizing properties, flushing out water heaters and water supply lines, and painting parking lot lines and handicap zones.
  • Responsible for 24-hour emergency repair response service.
  • Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs.
  • Preparation of vacant units for occupancy including but not limited to painting full rooms and trim; installing appliances; replacing kitchen and bathroom cabinets and countertops; and replacing flooring.
  • Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
  • Handle all lockouts as a result of evictions.
  • Remove snow and ice as necessary.

  • Be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.
  • Report any and all health and safety violations to the Maintenance Supervisor
