Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking two IT Administration Senior Specialists to perform systems administration and network administration within Southwest Region's Traffic Management Center (TMC), located in Vancouver, WA. The goal is to consistently uphold, enhance, and modernize systems and infrastructure in accordance with WSDOT ITS and TSD policies. This utilizes advanced technical expertise across various disciplines to execute and sustain daily operations, enhance infrastructure for networking and file storage, and formulate, implement, and oversee strategies for mitigating risks and vulnerabilities related to infrastructure. These roles include the development and communication of guidance and standards, leadership in daily activities, upgrades, remediation efforts, and the creation of methods and processes for problem analysis. Responsibilities also include coordinating various systems, inventory management, lifecycle preservation, security oversight, updates, technical consultation, and addressing technology issues.
