SEH America Inc. Equipment Maintenance Technician - EPI in Vancouver, Washington

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - EPI
This position will work on the specialized EPI quartz team
Job Duties
• Perform Equipment Preventative Maintenance of consumable parts for EPI Reactors.
• Minor Troubleshooting and some repair of equipment used in Epitaxial Silicon wafer manufacturing.
• Use calibration equipment and hand tools.
• Use MMS (Maintenance Management System) to record tasks completed, parts used, and labor hours etc…
• Rebuilding of valves etc… to support Preventative Maintenance effort.
Minimum Qualifications
• Able to follow all safety requirements.
• Read and adhere to checklists, work instructions and SOP’s etc…
• Experience in the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Detail oriented & content with repetitive work.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Experience
• 2+ years of experience in semiconductor field (or equivalent)
• Basic knowledge of computer data entry with Word, Excel etc…
Working Conditions
Hazardous chemicals or vapors may be present in work area depending on assignment. Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required in many job duties. Climbing, awkward positions may be necessary. Will occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. and willing to work any shift and overtime as required. Frequent sitting or standing for long intervals. Close vision (<2 feet) required. Working in clean room environments while wearing clean room garments. Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow simple instructions and safety procedures. A high degree of safety consciousness is required for all positions at SEH America.
