Role Summary:

The Business Banking Specialist III (BBS III) is an expert in the Commercial Banking Contact Center that provides exceptional service as they establish new commercial banking relationships, open commercial deposit accounts, take, process, and close loans, account maintenance, and serve as a Notary Public. The BBS III is also proficient with layered business accounts, entity changes and other sophisticated account maintenance. The BBS III uses their experience and in-depth knowledge to serve as a mentor that helps train new Business Banking Specialist's. Additionally, the BBS III can fluidly transition between tasks assisting and supporting the contact center when needed. The BBS III is excellent at deepening member relationships by referring, following up, and contacting members through phone calls and other communication methods. Cross sell Treasury Management products, Online Banking, and accounts. Control Risk and perform duties in a safe manner. The BBS III will provide white-glove Concierge level service for our Commercial Members and Loan Officers. Additionally, the BBSIII should originate small Commercial Loans under $100,000.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

Tackle problems, take ownership of member concerns, provide prompt resolutions, and follow-up, close the loop.

Have a deep understanding of financial literacy and be able to discuss it with members.

Demonstrate an up-to-date and extensive knowledge of all credit union products, services, policies, and procedures.

Provide coaching and mentoring/training to new Business Banking Specialists

Offer appropriate products and/or services to deepen member relationships and refer to other team members as appropriate.

Make outbound telephone calls to members for the purpose of establishing, growing, and cultivating member relationships.

Meet or exceed established service levels, job performance, and organizational goals.

Constantly adapt to changing priorities with a positive demeanor

Proficient in understanding, discussing, and opening business accounts, and other sophisticated accounts and distributions.

Proficient in discussing, gathering, and working with the member and appropriate department(s) to open and maintain specialty accounts such as S and C Corporations, Multi layered LLC, PTA, Not for Profit, LLP, accounts etc.

Open Business Trusts, Tenant in Common and municipal accounts. 

Proficient at understanding and completing international and domestic wire requests and commercial construction draws.

Assist non-members with establishing membership.
