Paladin Technologies Inside Sales, Intrusion & Monitoring Services in Vancouver, British Columbia

The Vancouver-based Inside Sales position will work closely with the Intrusion and Monitoring team to ensure that our customers are provided with the highest quality service. The ideal candidate will have superior customer service and sales skills, and must be highly organized and able to prioritize. We are growing rapidly across Canada, and our Inside Sales position must thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Support selling and administration of intrusion and monitoring services from our ULC Central Station, as well as supporting internal team members (outside sales, project management and service department) in the sale of these services.   

  • Review and assess business alarm requirements for monitoring requests and prepare BOM and quotations for end-user clients and team members 

  • Responsible for getting client approvals and supporting team members with Intrusion and monitoring sales 

  • Responsible for sales administration for new alarm customer and moves, adds changes (MAC’s) in the system 

  • Support customer care and central station with new customer and account set up 

  • Work collaboratively with Operations, IT, Engineering and other corporate departments to drive success of Monitoring services. 

  • Support interaction and contact with customers requiring monitoring services. 

  • Provide a timely and accurate response to customers’ required proposal and/or bid circumstance 

  • Propose and present new solutions for security, integrated systems technologies, and infrastructure related to monitoring services. 

  • Follow up on all sales leads and maintain system, opportunities, and forecasting. 

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers and team members. 

  • Possesses a positive attitude, self-motivated, passionate, committed to success and quality. 

  • Perform additional duties as required 

Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and project / quoting software

  • Minimum of 1 year experience with alarms and/or integrated systems

  • Experience in a technical sales role, producing quotes, estimates, and project design would be an asset

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills

  • Post-secondary education in electronics, electrical, or equivalent would be considered an asset

  • Excellent organization and attention to detail

  • Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and work with multiple deadlines

Pay: $50,000 - $60,000 DOE
