What you will do:

Join one of Stryker's fastest growing businesses as an Associate Sales Representative! As an Associate Sales Representative you will help the British Columbia and Alberta Pre-Hospital region achieve assigned quota by taking a consultative approach to Pre-Hospital support, clinical education, and related demonstration of all Pre-Hospital products and programs. These products/programs include: Power-Pro, Power-Load, Stair-Pro, Evacuation, LIFEPAK monitor/defibrillators and automated external defibrillators (AEDs), LUCAS Chest Compression Systems, the LIFENET System, HeartSine AEDs, ProCare Services and Flex Financial Services. Associate Sales Representatives partner with their Account Manager colleagues in BC and AB to focus on the development of customer relationships to create greater loyalty and accelerate growth.

  • Responsible for calling on Pre-Hospital staff and key stakeholders, including private and municipal ambulance services, fire departments, police, volunteer Pre-Hospital services in conjunction with current BC and AB Territory Managers.

  • In partnership with BC and AB sales team and Regional Sales Manager, assists the implementation of the set business plans to identify, support and close business.

  • Assists with preparing forecasts for yearly, quarterly and monthly business where applicable with BC and AB territory managers.

  • Participates in sales workshops, sales meetings, and/or promotional activities as requested by Pre-Hospital and/or Marketing Leadership and Medical Division.

  • Provides current customers with excellent post-sale follow up (communication and management of delivery dates, in-service training, and coordinates product repairs as directed by the BC and AB sales team).

  • Collaborates closely with BC and AB colleagues on strategy, provincial RFP responses, and enhancing Distribution partnerships.

  • Actively participates in national, regional, and local Pre-Hospital trade shows. For local trade shows may be solely responsible for transportation, set-up, and demonstration of products

  • Effectively manages assigned territory coverage via planning, coordination, and overnight travel.

  • Aligns and drives to Stryker's Mission and Vision Statement.

What you need:

  • University Degree or equivalent work experience required

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral in English- French is a bonus

  • Strong clinical experience and education through paramedicine or nursing, strongly preferred

  • Appreciation for the 'solution' approach to the sales complex medical equipment

  • Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines

  • Ability to consistently produce accurate, professional work

  • Self-starter with the ability to show significant initiative in problem resolutions

  • High-energy level with strong people skills and a positive attitude

  • Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience and performance over time at Stryker will be considered

  • Driving record in good standing.
