Cooper Farms is currently seeking 1st shift General Production team members to join our team in Van Wert.

*SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm or 3:30pm-12:00am *STARTING HOURLY RATE: $17.25 with the potential of increasing to $17.50 after 90 days. **PERKS: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses

All training will be provided. Job functions include:

• Operating and maintaining knowledge of the departmental equipment and operations
• Ensuring that all assigned procedures are carried out efficiently in accordance with production/quality/safety guideline
• Working with others to ensure all areas are up to standard and reporting any abnormalities.
• Accurately completing all required paperwork

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time
• Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a cool, damp environment
