POSITION SUMMARY
As the Maintenance Planner – (Trinidad based), you will be responsible for scheduling maintenance plans, tasks and resources in cooperation with engineering and production at the right time and quality to maintain asset reliability and continuously improve the overall plant performance
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
Lead and execute in cooperation with Maintenance Team the creation, review and optimization of maintenance plans in Asset & Maintenance Management (AMM) to improve the quality and effectiveness of the maintenance planning system.
Review and optimise maintenance task lists/activities/ OEM recommended maintenance schedules
Improve workflows and create standardised procedures where necessary
Prioritise maintenance activities: emergency, corrective, preventative and predictive tasks
Drive strategies for reducing maintenance cost
Timely ordering of spare parts and special tools to aid in maintenance activities
Ensure all work orders are linked to relevant BOMs.
Ensure weekly compliance of Maintenance Plan. Understand challenges and gaps faced, and devise strategies to eliminate non-compliance
Execute the weekly maintenance planning routine including tasks prioritisation, resources validation and allocation.
Plan maintenance shutdowns in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including 3rd party suppliers and OEMs.
Align and communicate the weekly planned activities with Production, Quality, SHE, Technical Stores, Planned Maintenance Technicians and Industrial Services
Ensure all preventive maintenance activities are completed on-time and in-full. Provide corrective and preventive actions in case of work order backlog.
Review equipment life-cycles and recommend timely replacement of parts and machines.
Review equipment upgrade kits and ensure timely installation
Participate in Breakdown analyses and RCAs.
Assist with raising and tracking claims made to OEMs
Work with Reliability Engineers to improve all maintenance plans
Work with Technical Stores to ensure optimal stock level and availability of spare parts
Train and coach relevant personnel on the Maintenance Planning process, as required
Track all relevant KPIs and Engineering Health Checks.
WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL
Technical Diploma and/or Engineering Degree
5 years experience in Maintenance Planning;
Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate will be considered an asset;
Highly proficient in using CMMS software;
Highly skilled at SAP Planned Maintenance (PM) module will be considered an asset.
