Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), PRN at Northwest Health - Porter Hospital

About this role?

  • Responsible for the weekend evaluation and treatment of referred patients in the acute care and inpatient rehab settings

  • The Speech Language Pathologist will be skilled in the assessment and treatment of speech and language problems, feeding and swallowing disorders, and cognitive deficits.

  • Will rely on experience and judgment to establish and administer a treatment plan of care with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity, tolerance, and potential.

  • Work cooperatively with physicians, case managers and nursing staff

  • Expertise with Modified Barium Swallow Studies is preferred

Education/Licensure:

  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology and may require a certificate of clinical competence in speech-language pathology (CCC).

  • Indiana state licensing requirements
