Job Description
Aids activities related to patient flow including; bed assignment and the transition of patients through the facility. Assists in coordinating patient transfer services from other facilities, including physician access to these services.
Job Responsibility
Assists in facilitating patient bed assignments according to hospital patient aggregation.
Aids review of specific orders that may impact bed placement (i.e.: one-on-one constant observation, telemetry needs, pending lab specimens, admit orders for medicine teams).
Helps in collecting data for Zone alerts (admissions, discharges, bed demands/availability status of surge units, etc.).
Collates data from Teletracking to provide information needed for daily bed meeting template.
Escalates bed management problems to registered nurse or team leader.

Job Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
0-1 years of relevant experience, required.

The salary range for this position is $32,800-$48,540/year
