Description
Our client in Valley Center is currently seeking a skilled Staff Accountant with top-notch software skills. This role will be pivotal to maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budget and close processes, and maintaining accounts payable and receivable documentation.
Responsibilities:
Prepare accounting-related entries to several registers, journals, and logs.
Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
Assist with the general ledger setup.
Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions.
Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Staff Accountant.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
Proficiency in MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
