Providence St. Joseph Health Occupational Therapist - PVMC OT in Valdez, Alaska

Assesses, plans implements, and evaluates occupational therapy services within the guidelines established by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Provides services to inpatients, outpatients, swing bed patients, and long term care residents. Collaborates with other team members to plan and provide important aspects of care, in compliance with medical center standards and guidelines established by the American Occupational Therapists Association in conjunction with regulatory requirements of both federal and state agencies.

Hours: Full-time, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift, 40 Hours Per Week.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Occupational Therapy or
  • Master's Degree: Occupational Therapy or
  • Ph.D: Occupational Therapy.
  • Upon hire: Alaska Occupational Therapist License Or
  • Upon hire: Alaska Occupational Therapist Limited Permit License Or
  • Upon hire: Alaska Occupational Therapist Temporary License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years: Experience in subspecialty.
