Starting Hourly Rate: $15.00
Status: Part time

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be expected to learn from and assist current Personal Care Aides with the following job duties:
Assist program participants with personal care, meal preparation, daily living skills and socialization.
Ensure program participants’ care plans are being implemented on an ongoing basis.
Provide monitoring and oversight to all participants.
Ensure a meaningful, enriching environment and experience to participants in a Social Adult Day Program.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to monitor and oversee program participants.
Meal preparation and ability to follow meal guidelines for participants.
Lead recreational activities inside the program and when participants go out into the community.
Assist with toileting, medicine distribution and personal care skills.
Learn how to assist participants with transportation and on and off transport vehicle.
Education:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
PCA certification either as pre-apprenticeship training or during the course of the apprenticeship.
