We are currently looking for a Senior Analyst / Lead Analyst BSA in our Houston, TX or Owensboro, KY office.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Research latest industry practices and technology trends related to HR, Payroll, Benefits, Performance,
Compensation, Learning and Recruiting to assist IT Manager with providing advice to clients and members of the IT organization
Ensure all required system and compliance documentation is complete and accurate
Generate and compile reports based on analytical findings, complete with probable cause and possible
solutions to system issues
For assigned projects:
Lead the definition, development and documentation of business requirements, objectives, deliverables and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and standards
Serve in role of Project Manager and utilize Boardwalk IT project management standards and templates
Participate in the design and development of test plans/cases to ensure that the system or application functions as specified
Collaborate with business users and other team members to prioritize outstanding issues, enhancement requests and projects on routine basis
Assist with oversight for project management efforts
Participate in on-call support rotation, as required for functional applications supported
Participate in the development or review of application training materials required to provide the user community with a solid understanding of the functionality available to meet the business requirements and conduct training sessions as required
Participate in the development and execution of business continuity processes as requested by senior team members
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
3 – 5 years’ experience supporting Dayforce HR, Benefits, Payroll, Performance, Compensation, Learning and Recruiting modules
5 – 7 years experience in systems development and/or IT project management
Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
Solid working knowledge of current HR, Payroll, Benefits, Performance, Compensation, Learning and Recruiting technologies
Experience with configuration, enhancements, upgrades, testing and post-production support to trouble-shoot issues in Dayforce with some technical expertise as well as functional experience
Strong knowledge of ITSM and work management practices and tool (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
Familiarity with the Energy industry and/or experience working in the pipeline oil and gas industry
Experience utilizing Oracle EBS R12.2
Experience utilizing Oracle EPM
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, CIS or related field
