We’re searching for a Chicago-based HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team, so that we can manage the day-to-day work that keeps our HR processes running smoothly. The HR Coordinator will take ownership of our North American benefits program and support key HR processes to ensure a positive, efficient experience for our employees.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • Oversee leave management processes (FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD in US; provincial leaves, EI benefits, and disability in Canada) to ensure accurate tracking and timely communication

  • Work closely with vendors in order to resolve escalations and ensure benefits programs run smoothly

  • Act as primary contact for benefits related questions to provide clear and supportive guidance to our employees

  • Process HR paperwork (benefits transactions, payroll adjustments, employee changes) in order to maintain records and ensure data integrity

  • Lead annual open enrollment and benefits renewal process to ensure employees are informed on our offerings and enrolled in their desired benefits

  • Facilitate benefits onboarding for new hires to help them feel welcome and set up for success

What Kind of Things We’re Most Interested in You Having

  • Experience in a benefits or HR role that interacted regularly with both employees and vendors

  • Proven success handling multiple deadlines and responsibilities while maintaining high attention to detail

  • In-depth knowledge on how to administer benefits for North American employees

  • Ability to commute to downtown Chicago 2-3 times per week

  • Sincere interest in streamlining and optimizing processes

  • A knack for working collaboratively, and ability to quickly adapt within a fast-paced environment
