Job Title: Graphic Designer, Performance Creative (VaynerCommerce)

Reports to: Associate Director of Graphics

VaynerCommerce is a Growth Engineering Firm. Initiated in 2018, it officially launched in 2020 as a new type of firm for modern brands to partner with to drive sustainable growth. VaynerCommerce is a digital-first firm that takes an engineering approach to driving sustainable growth. It was started by former early Shopify Plus employees, and was born from the frustration that brands were left with no good options in the market when it came to building sustainable online customer growth. VaynerCommerce services as a strategic partner, with an implementation arm across data science, engineering, design, financial modeling, media & creative, and merchandising for brands that want to sustainably grow their Direct-to-consumer business. VaynerCommerce works across Fortune 100, Venture Capital, and Private Equity-backed consumer brands.

What You Will Do:

As a Performance Graphic Designer you will support the VaynerCommerce creative team with a focus on executing high level, high volume static ads for social media platforms. You have a strong eye for design and understand how to incorporate a brand’s visual language into your work. You have strong skills in composition, typography, hierarchy of information, and potentially motion design. Working closely with the associate director of graphics and creative strategists, your work will be to consistently improve performance by incorporating data-driven insights. You will utilize this knowledge to optimize new and iterative high performance imagery that exceeds company and client expectations.

Your deep understanding and knowledge of Social Media trends compels you to create fresh and exciting thumb-stopping ads. You excel at managing your time, meeting deadlines, and regularly communicating with the associate director of graphics.

What We're Looking For:

  • Stellar design skills with a strong sense for composition, typography, hierarchy of information, readability, and creativity

  • Own projects from brief to completion and incorporate feedback into thoughtful final assets

  • Works closely with the creative team to transform concepts into visual executions that articulate the brand's needs

  • Ability to work across multiple brands and within each brand’s guidelines

  • Possess strong attention to detail

  • Capable of managing rapid fire requests and tight timelines

  • Willingness to try new things and consistently come up with new creative ways to present information to the consumer

  • Improve the creative workflow process, including finding efficiencies in leveraging templates while still maintaining creativity

  • Responsible, accountable, self starter who consistently demonstrates initiative and excellent time management

Who You Are:

  • 4+ years of professional design experience, with a demonstrable passion for making compelling creative content

  • Passionate about branding, storytelling, and producing engaging content and campaigns

  • Advanced experience with Illustrator and Photoshop. Intermediate experience with After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Figma is a plus.

  • Shines in a dynamic environment, collaborate with teammates, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and positive results

  • Passionate about design and staying up-to-date with current design trends

  • Desire to work in an entrepreneurial company where the culture is just as important as the work

  • Able to own a project from start to finish, working autonomously, but welcoming feedback and collaboration

  • Strong communicator and have the ability to prioritize and manage work while adhering to critical timelines

  • Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

  • Base Salary $70,000 - $85,000
