You will be responsible for workload planning and distribution, setting out the strategy for new software development, with an emphasis on Artificial Intelligence adoption. You will manage the team of 3-4 direct reports and take responsible for day-to-day coaching and team development

People leader with ability to hire and develop talent. Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy
Uses solid judgment and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated software processes with technical variety Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Leads projects with resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues
Drive world class product care of our legacy software
Define, develop, and evolve world class software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure
Work with product managers and engineering colleagues to understand product requirements & vision, and to develop multi generation software technology plans
Translate requirements/vision into prioritized list, and deliver to required timelines and quality standards
Drive increased efficiency across teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse
Support process improvements which guide the development, sustaining & support activities
Work cross functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverables
Ensure team receives consistent messages and has clear understanding of business direction, strategy and results
Engage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledge
Apply principles and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosen
Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness
Education Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.
BA / MBA degree is a plus
Desired Characteristics/Technical Expertise:
Master's Degree/ PHD in Computer Science
Experience with Windows, Unix/Linux and .net based programming
Familiar with DEPS regulations
Certified Scrum Master and/or Product Owner

Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems
•Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
Demonstrates awareness about competitors and industry trends
