We are seeking a Director for our Chromatography Lab Resins team. In this role, you will guide Cytiva’s Chromatography Lab Resins within Discovery & Medical, setting and achieving long-term strategic goals and annual objectives. You’ll oversee a team of Product Managers who manage the lifecycle of our Lab resin products, ensuring success through effective forecasting, pricing strategies, and business planning
What you’ll do:
Lead Cytiva’s Chromatography Lab Resins business team within Discovery & Medical to establish and deploy the long-term strategic goals and annual business objectives.
Lead a team of highly skilled Product Managers who are responsible for the lifecycle of Cytiva’s Lab resin product portfolio. The role includes working with standard processes such as new product development and life cycle management, the long-term forecast, annual pricing process and Integrated Business Planning cycle to deliver on agreed goals and KPI´s.
Develop strong working relationships across the various OpCos and functions, including BioProcess Resin & Technologies, R&D, Operations, Sourcing and Commercial to ensure engagement and action on projects that deliver new innovations, product quality and security of supply.
Engage closely with the commercial team to represent the business in customer facing meetings and conferences, imparting knowledge and insights that supports the Lab resin business.
Leverage the Danaher (DBS) toolbox to maximize efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives to meet existing targets on top-line revenues and operating margins plus actively seeking new opportunities to sustain, improve and grow the business.
The essential requirements of the job include:
University degree within relevant area and people leadership experience.
Significant experience from the Life Science industry and protein research area (preferably lab chromatography), and thereby an excellent understanding of customer workflows and challenges
Exceptional leadership skills and proven ability to operate in a global and cross functional environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex messages and present to both executive management and external stakeholders. You are not afraid to speak up and escalate issues which you believe must be improved to maintain a successful and sustainable business.
Fluency in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
