We have an excellent opportunity for a dedicated, conscientious individual to join the SEIKO team at our corporate headquarters.We are seeking a Corporate Paralegal with a specific concentration on US and export businesses relating to the international watch industry.Key Responsibilities:•Complete accountability for all US and export businesses relating to Grand Seiko and SEIKO Watches.•Responsible for all legal transactions relating to Grand Seiko and SEIKO Watch business. •Legal experience must include work related to contracts, corporate entities, and document management.•Preparation and management of negotiation and litigation strategies.•Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies across areas of organizational responsibility.•Assists in the completion of all government, regulatory, and compliance documents for all business units in the company and establishes policies and procedures to ensure compliance.•Serves as the authorized point of contact for all contracts.•Administration of parent company’s global trademark and other intellectual property policies.•Coordinate and manage work of outside counsel engaged to conduct such matters as draft amendments and/or other correspondence relating to contracts.•Legal analysis of complex regulatory compliance, contractual requirements and intellectual property considerations.•Implementation of policies and procedures to ensure appropriate internal corporate governance standards are maintained.•Coordination with parent company to assist in its meeting correlated standards under Japanese regulations.Requirements:•Four-year bachelor’s degree, with a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA accredited or approved program.•Strong candidates will have at least seven plus years of experience in corporate environment.•Intermediate workplace proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).•Ability to multitask with competing priorities- must be able to track and manage multiple projects that require interaction with a variety of departments and types of information, to ensure timely completion.•Attention to detail and accuracy is critical.•Ability to work effectively under multiple time deadlines.•Exceptional communication (oral and written).Hybrid PositionAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
