We invest in our associates and create a supportive, team-based environment for learning, innovation and advancement.SUMMARYResponsible for meeting customer requirements of on-time delivery and quality through the effective operation of conventional and/or CNC equipment while adhering to the Quality Management System, all applicable regulations and company standards, and Lean Manufacturing Principles, and performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Understands job specifications and blueprints, as instructed.Independently operates conventional and CNC machining centers.Tests and inspects products during the manufacturing operation to determine if items meet specifications, complying with established standards and methods for inspection, testing, evaluation and calibration.Understands and follows all written instructions as per tool sheets, inspection plans, etc. and accurately completes all required documentation at the time of the task, as well as provides required data for established metrics in area.Examines defective machinery to determine problem and reports need for machine repairs.Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear, and corrects damage.Recommends process improvements to TC or management.Completes all required documentation on a timely basis.Understands and complies with company policy, safety guidelines, quality system procedures, and housekeeping standards.Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-2 years CNC machinist experience.
