Triangle Manufacturing Calibration Technician in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey

SUMMARY

Support Triangle’s gage calibration system, adhering to the Quality Management System, as well as all applicable industry, regulatory and customer requirements. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Manage all aspects of Triangle’s internal calibration program including, but not limited to, p erforming the calibration, routine inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of gauges or other measuring / testing equipment.

Entering, and maintaining, accurate gage and calibration data in Triangle's gage management system, per our QMS and Industry Standards.

Ensuring all gages are in good condition, and accessible to users.

Supporting and training associates engaged in inspection to improve their competency in basic and advanced measuring techniques, including proper gage use, handling, storage and calibration prior to use.

Support Calibration Investigations for gages found to be out of calibration.

Understand and comply with company policies, safety guidelines, quality system procedures and housekeeping standards.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job description successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or equivalent, and 3 years of inspection and/or calibration experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in a regulated CNC manufacturing environment.

               Required

  • Ability to read, write and speak English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, etc. as well as write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate clearly in written form as well as when speaking to others one-on-one and presenting to small groups.

  • Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints

  • Conceptual understanding of simple geometric tolerancing

    •     Experience in using computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

  • Detail-oriented, accurate, organized and ability to handle multiple priorities in a changing, fast-paced environment.

  • Accountable and reliable.

    Desired

  • Calibration Technician Certification (CCT) or Quality Technician Certification (QTC)

  • Applied knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
