DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position is responsible for programmatic oversight of the Quality Management Plan, Human Rights Committee, Independent Monitoring for Quality (IM4Q) and Incident Management.  Additionally, the position ensures compliance of Delaware County Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and its providers with Commonwealth of Pennsylvania DPW/ODP requirements regarding incidents and investigations. The person in this position has the HCSIS roles of County Incident Manager and Certified Investigator.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a County Intellectual Disabilities Program Specialist 1; or Three years of professional experience in the field of intellectual disabilities, and a bachelors degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation. This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
