Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Semi-Skilled Laborer (Seasonal) - Delaware State Park Complex (Upper Black Eddy) in Upper Black Eddy, Pennsylvania

Reference #: 4404174 THE POSITION Are you someone who loves being outside and working with your hands? If so, the Delaware State Park Complex (Upper Black Eddy) has a great opportunity for you. We are currently seeking a Semi-Skilled Laborer to help maintain and improve our park facilities. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors and wants to contribute to the safe and enjoyable experience of our park visitors. Join our team and help us keep the park in top shape for everyone to enjoy.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK Your role involves performing routine semi-skilled tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for visitors, while also supporting park staff in addressing basic customer service needs. Your responsibilities include housekeeping, maintenance, groundskeeping, and operating equipment. Tasks may include checking and repairing landscaping equipment, making minor building repairs, assisting with tree removal, and painting/staining park structures. Other duties may involve constructing or repairing wooden gates, bridges, concrete work, and overseeing volunteer projects as directed based on performance and experience.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Seasonal full-time employment without benefits. The season runs from March through November. Shift hours and days vary due to operational need, with a 30-minute lunch Weekends, holidays and all shifts as needed at 37.5 hours per week Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training.
