The Operations Manager is a full-time position that assumes overall responsibility for assisting with organizational leadership and day-to-day operational management.

  • Provide the Administrator overall assistance to leadership and management of the agency.

``` - Assist in ensuring fiscal solvency of the agency.

``` - Responsible for ensuring effective implementation and operationalization of agency strategic plans.

``` - Oversees all human resources administration, either directly or indirectly.

``` - Assists with fiscal accounting, either directly or indirectly.

``` - Responsible for ensuring employee documentation complies with all relevant laws to include Federal, State and local jurisdictions.

``` - Maintains current knowledge related to homecare industry standards and industry trends.

``` - Represents the agency to the public to include a variety of activities such as participation on committees, and engaging in community partnerships/collaborations.

``` - Develops and ensures agency/staff adherence to operational policies and procedures.

``` - Process payroll for all staff

```{=html}

``` - Provide payroll journals to CEO and President for review each pay period.

``` - Review staffing calendar and schedules in Generations as needed to ensure accurate payroll as well as to assist with caregiver scheduling activities.

``` - Assist with creation and maintenance of staff personnel files.

``` - Complete prospective client intakes as needed

``` - Answer general incoming office calls as needed.

``` - Providing back-up support in any areas of the business ie., scheduling, recruiting, hiring, training, marketing, employee and client satisfaction, care management

``` - Orientations to new hires

``` - Assist in Marketing company services and building relationships with referral sources and other groups, organizations and individuals within the community

``` - Actively participate in marketing and staff meetings. Contribute ideas to Motherly Comfort Home Care marketing strategies.

``` - Discuss Motherly Comfort Home Care services with potential clients and referral sources both over the phone and in person.

``` - Document referral source activities on a daily basis.

```{=html}

``` - Meet with clients/families to complete inquiries/intakes as needed.

``` - Complete client assessments.

```{=html}

``` - Evaluate clients to determine appropriate service mix, including activities, personal care needs and need for outside services. Coordinate and liaise with outside service providers as needed. Evaluate and document safety issues and concerns and plan for addressing.

``` - Open new cases and complete service agreements and related forms with clients/families.

``` - Complete client care plans and input into software program.

```{=html}

``` - Work with Staffing Coordinator to ensure effective staffing of cases in assigned territories.

``` - Walk caregiver(s) into case (i.e. home, facility) on first visit to introduce caregiver(s) to client/family/facility and ensure caregiver(s) understanding of care plan.

``` - Provide placement services as needed. Assist clients in the identification and securing of fa ilities that effectively meet their needs. Coordinator placement with facility management.

``` - Provide or arrange transportation services to clients as requested.

``` - Identify areas for employee training and manage agency training programs.

``` - Perform other duties as required

``` - At least 3 years of senior management/leadership experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.

``` - Working knowledge of human resource management practices a plus.

```{=html}

``` - Working knowledge of fiscal management/accounting to include budget development and financial analysis a plus.

``` - Demonstrated knowledge of system and processes.

```{=html}

``` - Ability to persuasively communicate ideas and information.

```{=html}

``` - Ability to effectively discuss issues of a sensitive nature with potential clients over the phone and in person.

``` - Ability to professionally represent Motherly Comfort Home Care to clients and the public, both over the telephone and in person.

``` - Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally with a wide variety of individuals.

``` - Ability to maintain the confidentiality of client and staff information encountered in the course of work.

``` - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

``` - Organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.

``` - Knowledge of and proficiency in the use of modern office equipment and software programs including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Ability to learn how to utilize additional software programs and databases as needed.

``` - Pass Background check, HCA LiveScan Fingerprints.

Ability to consistently meet the required work schedule of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
