Northrop Grumman (NG) Aeronautics Systems (AS) sector is seeking a Talent Acquisition Sourcing Manager to join the AS Talent Acquisition (TA) organization. This role offers a full-time U. We’re looking for strategic thinkers, systems connectors, and empathetic leaders as we continue delivering top talent for the AS sector’s accelerating growth. If you love designing creative, laser-focused approaches to pinpoint top talent that also deliver a stellar candidate experience, we want to talk to you!

As a leader in the AS TA organization, you’ll play a pivotal role in integrating our talent sourcing strategy, technology optimization, and recruitment marketing. You’ll lead a team of talented TA Sourcers who seek, engage, and nurture our AS talent pipeline across all sector business units and experienced job profiles. You’ll apply your data-driven mindset and your functional expertise to elevate our team’s market awareness and industry knowledge. You’ll ensure cross-functional collaboration with TA leaders and have outstanding partnership with our customers and Human Resources colleagues. Qualified candidates have direct experience directly leading individual contributors and building trusted relationships with customers.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Lead a team of individual contributors in building and delivering tailored passive talent pipelines that meet business demand through applied research and the sourcing, engaging, and qualifying of candidates.

  • Effectively integrate our talent technology (including Candidate Relationship Management system and Applicant Tracking System) and recruitment marketing approaches to optimize our talent sourcing strategy, building on existing pools and methodologies, and innovating new approaches.

  • Deliver weekly pipeline reporting to AS TA leadership, monthly progress updates on sourcing events, and quarterly deep dive reviews on sourcing performance and activity.

  • Apply incisive market and industry analysis to lead our team in inverting the traditional wide-net outreach funnel to highly targeted and personalized talent identification and customized talent segmentation.

  • Serve as a lead point of contact on sourcing strategy with stakeholders, partners in the business, and HR.

  • Coach the sourcing team in nurturing meaningful relationships that deliver talent for both immediate and future hiring demand and on maintaining proper CRM hygiene.

  • Thoughtfully allocate team resources to demand through data-driven approaches that balance key recruiting metrics with a holistic view of Recruiter accountability.

  • Analyze team funnel metrics and outreach tactics to optimize pull-through ratios.

  • Contribute to AS TA leadership’s ongoing strategic sourcing prioritization, demand readiness, talent management, and succession planning.

  • Collaborate with and influence stakeholders and provide intelligent insights to AS TA leadership and through regular data analysis, reporting, and market scanning.

  • With a team of event specialists, design and deliver curated sourcing events that emphasize quality pipeline over quantity and a superior candidate experience.

  • Maintain current skills in market-leading sourcing and talent intelligence approaches and benchmarks to drive ongoing upskilling and adoption in the organization.

  • Manage direct full time and contract labor reports’ individual contributor performance and support needed through regular 1:1s and team meetings.

  • Mentor and coach other members of the extended TA organization.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience OR Master’s degree and 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition in a large, complex, professional environment, RPO, and/or third-party agency. May consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.

  • At least 5 years of experience with passive pipeline sourcing techniques including job boards, search platforms, Boolean search, database mining, and market research.

  • People leadership experience leading people with inclusion, driving strategic prioritization, measuring team outcomes, and motivating team members to connect their work to organizational goals and reach their full potential.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience and knowledge of the Aeronautics and Aerospace industry.

  • Superior relationship building and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities/clients.

  • Strong analytical aptitude with ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven storytelling and excellent oral and written communication skills.
