JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

A Postdoctoral position is available at The Pennsylvania State University (https://psu.edu) to study plant cell signaling under the supervision of Professor Sarah M. (Sally) Assmann (Department of Biology). Our research employs Arabidopsis and crop species to study cellular signaling, particularly in guard cells, during plant responses to stresses associated with climate change, both abiotic and biotic.

Education and Experience:

A Ph.D., strong skills in plant physiology, and experience in molecular biology, including cloning, are required, as demonstrated in peer-reviewed research publications.

Additional Information: This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire, with excellent possibility of continuation.
