JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Penn State School of Public on the University Park campus seeks an Instructor for a part-time appointment to begin August 2023. This is a one semester, non-tenure track appointment with the possibility of reappointment. Part-time lecturers normally teach one section.
Job Duties
The successful candidate will teach a master’s level statistics course or other policy course in the core curriculum of the Master of Public Policy degree.
Requirements and Qualifications
Applicants must have the ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse student population.
Candidates must have completed a master’s degree in public administration, public policy, mathematics, statistics, data science, economics, political science, psychology, or a related field.
Preference will be given to candidates with proficiency in the R statistical package.
Preference will also be given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level.
