JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Campus Recreation is looking for an experienced and dynamic person to join our team. Under the supervision and direction of the Senior Assistant Director for Facility Operations, the Coordinator for Facility Operations will serve on a team responsible for the daily operation and management ofthe Intramural Building.
Specific responsibilities include:
Oversee the daily operations of the Intramural Building.
Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate student employees; including supervisors and attendants.
Ensure the proper compliance with risk management processes and protocols for facility operations. Maintain all risk management records according to department and University policy.
Manage payroll for facility operations student staff.
Assist with event set-up and management as needed for various facility reservations (including registered student organizations, club sports, and intercollegiate athletics).
Provide occasional support for other facilities, projects, and events in Campus Recreation.
Position Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or higher, plus three years of facility operation experience is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
A master's degree in recreation, sports management, higher education, or a related field is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in student development is required.
Knowledge of safety and risk management practices as they relate to facility operations is required.
A working knowledge of software systems such asInnosoft Fusion,WhenToWork, or similar, is preferred.

Ability to foster a positive climate among a diverse group of staff, student employees, and participants
This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
Campus Recreation is a department within the Division of Student Affairs that provides recreation and wellbeing programs to the campus community through operation and administration of the following: Intramural Building, McCoy Natatorium, Stone Valley Recreation Area, Tennis Center, White Building, Hepper Fitne s Center, Aquatics, Club Sports, Fitness and Wellbeing, Intramural Sports, and Outdoor Adventures. Campus Recreation is comprised of 46 full-time staff and more than 700 student staff members.
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is: $46,400.00 - $67,300.00
