JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The College of the Liberal Arts is searching for an Academic Program Coordinator to provide departmental graduate and undergraduate program support.

The Academic Program Coordinator's duties will focus on residential and online graduate student services, faculty and adviser support, curricular proposals, and graduate and undergraduate organizational support.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Residential and Online Graduate Student Services: Coordinate the application process from submission through acceptance, communicate with applicants regarding application materials and status updates; create and maintain student listservs; maintain graduate student records; and complete graduation checks.

Curricular Proposals: Serve as the curricular affairs representative for undergraduate and graduate courses; assist faculty with and facilitate the curricular affairs process; oversee course and program proposals, ensuring deadlines are met.

Faculty and Adviser Support: Manage calendars and drop-ins for academic advisers, as well as office hours for faculty; assist with the coordination of recruitment and retention of graduate and undergraduate students; process internship requests and concentration certificates; and facilitate course enrollments.

Graduate and Undergraduate Organizational Support: Coordinate and support various student-centered events, process graduate faculty nominations, create and disseminate student reports, organize and prepare annual graduate and teaching assistant evaluations, and track graduate student awards.

The Academic Program Coordinator will primarily provide undergraduate and/or graduate program support to the Department of Anthropology and the School of Labor and Employment Relations.

Education and Experience: This position will be filled at the level of Intermediate Support, which requires a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED or Vocational Training/Degree for education and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent organizational, customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills

Experience using Microsoft Excel

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is: $38,300.00 - $55,500.00
