NBC Universal Universal Destinations & Experiences Summer 2025 Internship - Business Analytics & Industrial Engineering in Universal City, California

USH Capacity Studies - time studying, data collections, data analysis, at various USH attractions to look at general improvements. Also look at the variety of ways Attractions tracks Delays and enhance it to one or fewer solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To assist the Business Analytics and Industrial Engineering Department in accomplishing tasks
These tasks include time studies, data collection, data analysis, metric development and execution, and small projects pertaining to increasing efficiency, reducing costs, impacting sales, and improving ride throughput
Collect and compile observational data-time and motion studies
This data can be used to make business decisions around (but not limited to) ride capacity and utilization, Food and Merchandise sales, labor utilization, and standards
Assist in set-up and data entry of data for Technical Services, Operations, Merchandise, Foods, Entertainment, Park Services
Perform various traditional Industrial Engineering tasks as required
Ability to prioritize effectively and problem solve to ensure all tasks are completed in an effective and timely manner
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills
Energetic, strong communicator, highly motivated
Experience with data and statistical analysis and working in Microsoft Excel
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established USH policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities
Performs other duties as assigned
Pay Range: $18-$25/hour
Please note this is a hybrid internship.
EDUCATION
In pursuit of Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university in an accredited Industrial Engineering program
