Job Description

We're on the lookout for a skilled ETL consultant to join us on a contract basis. Your primary responsibility will be to extract data from JDE and mainframe databases and seamlessly load it into SQL Server.

Responsibilities:

• Data Identification: Leverage your extensive JD Edwards knowledge to identify and categorize data within the IBM i LPAR environment, specifically focusing on files like F0911, ensuring accurate allocation to each Business Unit.

• Data Segmentation: Develop and execute a robust strategy to effectively segment data, guaranteeing that each Business Unit accesses only relevant data while upholding data integrity.

• Mainframe Collaboration: Collaborate with the Mainframe team if needed to replicate the data separation process, maintaining consistency and accuracy across platforms.

• Documentation: Maintain meticulous documentation of the separation process, configurations, and data mappings for future reference and audits.

• Testing and Validation: Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of separated data alongside cross-functional teams to ensure post-separation systems' functionality and accuracy.

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements, including data privacy laws, throughout all data separation activities.

• Collaboration: Engage with IT teams, Business Unit leaders, and stakeholders to comprehend their specific data needs and ensure the separation aligns with their requirements.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in JD Edwards (JDE) systems, particularly in data management and separation.

• Sound understanding of IBM i LPAR and Mainframe environments.

• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Effective communication and collaboration abilities for seamless interaction with cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with data privacy and compliance regulations.

• Project management prowess and a track record of meeting deadlines.
