Xylem Production Manager in Uniontown, Pennsylvania

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply.
Plans and administers procedures and budgets.
Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
Have a strong customer focus.
Implement Lean Enterprise concepts and initiatives.
Focus towards Six Sigma quality and continuous improvement.
Drive productivity and efficiency improvements with the Hourly workforce, including streamlining processes.
Proactively support company-wide safety goals.
Be an integral part of Operations core management team.
Interact professionally with all departments, customers and suppliers
Flexibility, problem solving skills, and the ability to work in a team environment are essential elements of this position.
QUALIFICATIONS :
10+ plus years in manufacturing environment with supervisory or management experience.
Skilled in Team Building and implementing employee involvement.
Ability to work constructively with plant leadership to obtain operating and business objectives.
Experience with Lean Concepts and implementing improvements for Operations.
Ability to work with customers on all issues and be first line company representative.
Outstanding Communication Skills.
Must have Problem Solving and Process Improvement Skills.
Salary range:
$91,500.00 - $164,500.00
