Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced and dedicated OTR Trade Professional Flatbed Truck Drivers to join our fleet. The ideal candidate should possess physical strength and stamina required to secure and transport loads effectively over long distances. This role requires a strong adherence to safety regulations and a commitment to excellent logistical performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Secure cargo using straps, chains, and tarps to ensure safe and legal transportation.

  • Plan and follow driving routes using maps or GPS tracking systems.

  • Arrive at destinations on schedule.

  • Monitor road conditions and manage traffic congestion effectively.

  • Adhere to all traffic laws.

  • Maintain detailed logs of travel time, mileage, and rest periods to comply with Department of Transportation regulations.

  • Conduct routine maintenance checks daily, including refueling and fluid checks.

  • Regular communication with the Dispatcher/Fleet Manager.

  • Perform pre/post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers as required by law.

  • Follow established procedures in case of accidents.

  • Address any mechanical issues in accordance with company and FMCSA regulations.

  • Keep truck and associated equipment clean and in good working condition.

  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 25 years.

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

  • At least 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience.

  • Minimum of 12 months verified flatbed experience.

  • At least 6 months of coil experience.

  • Clean driving record with no crashes or accidents in the past 12 months.

  • No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.

  • No alcohol-related offenses in the past 2 years.

  • Must pass a drug test.

  • TWIC card is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently.
