Essential Functions and Primary Duties: Initiation of benefit calculations, including requests for election kits Data reconciliation Determination of minimum, maximum, and recommended annual plan contributions Preparation of actuarial communications related to IRS funding rules and regulations Preparation of accounting reports for plan and company financial statements Preparation of government filings, including Form 5500 (and schedules), PBGC premium determination, and Form 8955-SSA Preparation of required DOL notices such as the Annual Funding Notice Other projects such as Form 4010 filings, plan design changes, audit support, or multi-year forecasting (at the senior level) Additional responsibilities as assigned Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's in actuarial or math sciences Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED At least three years of professional, pension experience Possesses comprehensive knowledge of industry and professional concepts, principles, practices, and procedures Possesses comprehensive knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations, and professional standards Proficient use of applicable technology Proficient use of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and enterprise communication and travel solutions (Concur, Skype) Experience performing work that requires initiative and leadership skills Ability to anticipate and elicit customer needs Ability to self-learn and develop business and technical knowledge quickly Motivated team player with demonstrated interpersonal skills Comfortable working with quick turnaround times and deadlines Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization Capacity to adapt and work effectively within a variety of situations, and with various individuals or groups Display innovative ideas and solutions and capacity to identify and eliminate redundant work efforts and inefficient processes Ability to travel as necessary CBIZ.Jobs Category: Benefits & Insurance REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION If you are a qualified individual with a disability you may request reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access this site as a result of your disability.
