Job Summary:

The HR Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR record-keeping. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Support:

Assist with job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.

Coordinate pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.

Prepare offer letters and employment contracts for new hires.

Onboarding and Orientation:

Coordinate new hire orientation sessions and ensure new employees have the necessary information and resources to start their employment.

Assist with the completion of new hire paperwork and the setup of employee profiles in HR systems.

HR Administration:

Maintain HR records and databases, including employee files, personnel data, and timekeeping records.

Generate HR reports and assist with data analysis as needed.

Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.

Employee Relations:

Assist with employee relations matters, including conducting investigations and documenting findings.

Provide support to managers and employees on HR-related issues and concerns.

Benefits Administration:

Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.

Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and issue resolution.

Compliance and Policy Adherence:

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Assist with policy development, updates, and communication to employees.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

Previous experience in HR administration or coordination, preferably in the hospitality industry.

Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
