Actalent Machine Vision Engineer in Union, New Jersey

We are seeking exceptional programmers and engineers who are passionate about solving diverse, real-world problems using cutting-edge solutions. As a Machine Vision Engineer, you will develop and deploy advanced computer vision solutions across various applications and industries. You will work with technologies such as Deep Learning, 3D imaging, object detection, and other unique algorithms.
Responsibilities
Develop and deploy leading-edge computer vision solutions in a wide range of applications and industries.
Interface and program other industrial control systems including robotics, PLCs, and custom automation machinery.
Install, commission, and test systems at customers’ locations.
Essential Skills
Experience programming in C# from scratch.
Experience in a C&IP manufacturing environment.
Exposure to PLCs (programming, not just maintenance).
Robotics programming experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Knowledge and experience with machine vision systems.
Preferred experience with Cognex and/or Keyence machine vision systems.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to independently learn and troubleshoot problems.
Willingness to travel.
Work Environment
This role requires you to be onsite for 5 days a week, with occasional travel (approximately 15%) once you are converted and comfortable with client interactions. All travel expenses will be covered. The organization fosters an entrepreneurial spirit with project-based work and a flexible customer base.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $57.69
