Deep Foods Food Scientist (Job#: FS0319) in Union, New Jersey
- Keep the plant updated with regulation with a focus on FSMA & SQF interpretation, gap analysis, implementation and maintenance;- Investigate and propose solutions for food safety and quality related issues emerged during daily operation and product launching;- Optimize and standardize internal sensory testing program and sensory lab; help with the nutrition label and ingredient list verification;- Verify the accuracy of packaging information; design the shelf-life study for certain products;- Perform HACCP and HARPC routine verification and validation, along with other routine food safety related assignments;- Organize internal training, create and maintain the internal training material, SOPs, forms and records associated with food safety and quality.Requirement:1. Master's Degree in Food Science, Food Safety, or related field.
