Aerotek 3rd Shift Milling Machine Operator in UNION, Illinois
Description
They have a structured in-house training program in place, as that is completed the employee will be capable of and responsible for: maintaining day to day operations of automated production CNC machine cells. Fluent in the use of all the machine’s tooling. Capable of trouble shooting tools that are cutting improperly and make necessary changes to correct the root cause prior tool failure. Have the ability to set up, run, and inspect parts throughout the shift while being able to troubleshoot common manufacturing issues.

Technical / Mechanical aptitude Must possess strong computer skills Must possess strong basic math and spatial reasoning skills Needs a strong appreciation of the importance of completing tasks on time Able to clearly communicate and coordinate efforts with fellow team members Be self-motivated and possess a positive attitude, attention to detail, strong work ethic Works well independently and within a team Must be adaptable to a changing work environment Blue print reading and G and M code reading will be taught on site but prior experience helps

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00
