People for People is hiring a part time Home Delivery On-Call Driver for our Non-Profit organization located in Yakima, WA. We are looking for a professional, creative, and dynamic person who enjoys working with community residents.
Summary: The Home Delivery On-Call Driver operates under the supervision of the Senior Nutrition Manager, and in accordance with the guidelines and policies of the company and local, state and federal laws, this position delivers meals to home delivery clients following a regular route and schedule in a safe and courteous while doing a safety check.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and one-year related food service experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides knowledge, skills and abilities sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
- Must be over the age of 21.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Proof of personal vehicle insurance.
- Valid WA State driver's license.
- Employment is contingent upon successfully completing and passing a Pre-employment Drug Screen and a Washington State Patrol Background Check and/or National Background Check, Reference Checks, Credit check if applicable and other required documents.
Current Health Department Food Handlers Permit.
Starting Wage: $16.33/Hour plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Salary Range: $16.33 - $21.31/Hour.
