Aerotek General Production Worker in Tyrone, Pennsylvania

Job Title: Entry Level Production Technicians

Job Description

A small manufacturing company in northern Blair County is seeking individuals who are looking for a long-term opportunity. This role requires standing for 8 hours a day, reading a tape measure, cutting materials, and completing basic functions on a computer. You will be responsible for opening work orders on the computer and completing tasks, mainly involving measuring and cutting plastic material. We will be conducting interviews starting this week.

Responsibilities

  • Stand for 8 hours a day

  • Read a tape measure

  • Cut materials accurately

  • Complete basic functions on a computer

  • Open and manage work orders on the computer

  • Measure and cut plastic material

Essential Skills

  • Ability to read a tape measure (including 8ths and 16ths)

  • Basic math skills

  • Computer skills

  • Experience with production, inspection, and hand tools

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Must be able to take a test on the metric system and inch system

  • Experience with repair and assembly
