Description Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a Tax Manager. The ideal Tax Manager will have proficiency in Excel and tax software and technology, as well as expertise in various types of tax returns and financial statements. This the role for an experienced Tax Manager looking for a challenging role at an established company.
Major responsibilities
Provide accounting managers and staff accountants with tax best business practices
Ensure financial and tax reporting policies and procedures are compliant
Aid in in planning and compliance regarding tax matters, such as waivers and tax returns
Examine and oversee quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
Assemble and analyze complicated income tax returns- Assist in the review of the calculation and distribution of W-2s and 1099s
Support quality control review for all financial statements
Review and supervise the preparation of quarterly tax projections, and communicate required estimated tax payments
Assemble and manage oversight of tax audits and tax correspondence and facilitation Requirements - CPA preferred
2+ years of supervisory experience
5-7 years' experience in tax accounting
Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required
