This position has been designated as On-Site.
What you will do:
Responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of varied and complex building systems and equipment. O&M work includes, but is not limited to Boiler Plant and Chiller Operations, pumps, air handlers, plumbing, electrical, and RMCS control systems. Position is responsible for the direction, coordination and control of activities and service personnel necessary to deliver superior customer service and interface. Provide safe and stable operation of the facility and to optimize O&M effort to keep operating expenses low. A “hands on” position where the Plant Maintenance Supervisor is expected to be proficient in at least 3 of the critical O&M areas and licensed in one area a plus: Electrical, HVAC, Operating Engineer, Plumbing and control systems
Oversee operation, maintenance and repair for all building systems and equipment, including the day-to-day supervision and training of the operating staff.Assist staff with more complex activities
Assume responsibilities of the Operational Engineers when the individuals are not able to perform their job functions.
Perform service request, ensuring that work performed in these areas is accomplished efficiently with the minimum amount of disruption and inconvenience to the customer
Monitor operation of electrical and mechanical equipment supporting the facility and its critical operations
Demonstrate the proper use and care of tools and instruments, giving hands on instruction in basic maintenance, safety and troubleshooting procedures and instilling an overall professionalism in the Site Maintenance Personnel.
Manage and Monitor construction and repair projects.
Able to prepare and deliver customer facing reports based on contract requirements.
Monitor and ensure efficient operation of all building systems and equipment
Perform duties of assistant life safety director for all aspects of the contract and report those deficiencies to the Trane Safety Coordinator
Administer or Assist administrative personnel with the administration of CMMS and scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance actions and proper documentation
Direct the performance of contracted maintenance work as needed including: insuring timely performance of maintenance contract work, overseeing the fulfillment of equipment warrantee obligations by the installer and securing equipment manuals and drawings from the installers/contractors.
Recommend and solicit estimates for equipment and facility repairs.

What you will bring:
High School Diploma with 2 years advanced technical or related training and 10-15 years experience in facility/plant engineering and maintenance with experience with Hospital, Retail, Manufacturing, Campus or Commercial office buildings.Prior supervisory experience a plus.
License or Certification in one critical O&M area a plus and current Class A Operating Engineers License if required by local / state jurisdiction.Proficiency in computer applications and software such as MS Word, Excel, CMMS and Outlook.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public (I.E. excellent verbal and written communication skills).
Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Understands general mechanical and electrical calculations.Demonstrates ability to solve building system problems and perform root cause analysis

Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $32-$40+/hour
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
