Where is the work:
This position has been designated as On-Site.
Description:
Quality assurance technician supports operations through processes and equipment to protect operators, ensure compliance to regulating authorities, meet engineering specifications and protect our customers.
Responsibilities:
Calibration of test equipment
Test criteria (limits and rules) management
Troubleshooting and repair of electromechanical equipment
Fabricate and maintain testing equipment and accessories
Develop and maintain data queries in support of data driven decisions, six sigma methods
Support key programs individually, as part of and in the support of teams
Development and support of operators of testing equipment
Comply to and support safety requirements and initiatives
Facilitate and maintain a safe clean working environment in the quality assurance lab, work station and shop
Key competencies:
Bachelors degree or trade school with particular emphasis on electrical systems, electronics and microprocessors
Competent with bench top test equipment including digital oscilloscopes, signal generators and serial data analyzers
Competent programming using LabVIEW, prefer National Instruments certification
Knowledge of programmable automation controllers and programmable logic controllers
Competent with Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent understanding of refrigeration systems
Knowledge of leak detection technologies
Knowledge of Sigma/Lean tools
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair electromechanical systems in a production environment
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and reach objectives
Willing and available to work any shift
Minimal travel requirements, <5%
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $75,000-$85,000
