    Job Summary

  • The Licensed Practical Nurse within the Med Surg Unit is accountable for assisting in the physical, emotional and spiritual care and comfort of patients under the direct supervision and guidance of a Registered Nurse.

    Education and/or Experience

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nursing required.

    Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Eligible for or current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Minnesota required.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required upon hire or within one year of hire.

  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required upon hire or within one year of hire.

    Work Schedule

  • Day/Night shifts, every third weekend, every third holiday; 48 hours every 2 weeks

  • 4 - 12 hours shifts every 2 weeks
