JOB REQUIREMENTS: Custom test system fab & assembly from completed design/build package. Ability to work independently from the system build package. Duties may include: Typical tasks include drilling, tapping, cutting, knockout, and general assembly as specified in build package. Wiring from electrical drawings and use of correct color and gauge conductors as required by the build package (will train the right person). Crimping, soldering, & termination of electrical conductors as well as pre-start up inspection & some verification of software via manual screens(will train the right person). Any troubleshooting, machining or electrical checkout experience is a plus. Some domestic travel for field install and checkout may be required. Serve as a member of the project team. Be a student of current industry trends. Motivate co-workers, support the departmental community, and provide mentorship to junior coworkers. Support system fab and assembly focused on meeting and exceeding the customer requirements under direction of senior team members. Responsibilities: Work independently to complete tasks effectively in a timely manner with respect to the build plan. Proactively communicate status and issues with senior team members.
